Merino Blend Hiking Socks

I actually use these socks for flying in Gliders / Sailplanes, because I have found them to be very warm for very little bulk. As I fly out of the Highlands of Scotland, it is always essential to have warm clothing anyway, but in a cramped cockpit it is also essential to have some movement... Nothing worse than numb toes, or cramping feet muscles. Bulky winter socks can make shoes feel tight, whereas these excellent socks maintain warmth, circulation, and provide great comfort, also being very thin... Used as part of a Merino base layer system I believe these socks are exceptional. Will definitely purchase these again.

Game Changer!

Living in the Cairngorms and being an avid hiker, trekker, walker, whatever you want to call it, means that I spend most of my time on my feet, wearing hiking boots or approach shoes, and comfort is high on my list of priorities when I'm outdoors. For around 30 years I've used one particular well known brand of hiking socks, and didn't think I'd ever change to another. However, having been given some Isobaa hiking socks as a xmas gift, and then wearing them through some climbs in pretty serious winter conditions, I'm a complete convert! These are the most comfortable socks I've ever used, without question. They're warm, even when wet, cool when needed, dry quickly and don't smell. Above all, they're very comfortable, with never a hint of a hot spot or blister. I do a lot of multi day treks, carrying heavy loads and, I know this might sound a bit disgusting, the fact that these are merino means I can wear them for more than one day, without them deforming or causing blisters, and therefore means I can carry less in my pack, not needing a fresh pair for every day. Great socks and can't recommend them enough!
